BEST Behaviour

Each class has a set of rules which the children must abide by.  These are important because they help the smooth running of the classroom.  They are known as procedural rules.

Alongside these procedural rules we have developed a separate behaviour code, based on moral rules.  We call this BEST Behaviour.  You can view this by clicking on the box below. *Why not use this to help reinforce positive behaviour messages at home?

If children misbehave we have a clear procedure for managing poor behaviour.  A chart showing how staff use sanctions to punish unacceptable behaviour can be found below.
