Maths Calculation Policy

Staff developed this policy to ensure consistency in teaching calculations across the school. 

The policy was designed to help show parents how children are taught different calculation methods in ways which are appropriate for their age and development stage, as well as giving them the confidence to help children with their mathematical learning.

We shared this policy with parents at a meeting in September 2017.
